Oh my GOSHHHH. I am so obsessed with this hair editorial. I mean look at THAT HAIR. I'm so inspired to try one of these looks at one of my upcoming photoshoots (I'm back into styling again, woo hoo!) Seriously cannot believe the detail that this person has put into the hair. Love it when creative people push the boundaries and introduce crazy new trends.

PERSONAL: New Hair

I've been looking for a change for quite some time. I decided last week that I was going to visit my friend Rodnei at his salon Flourish on 5th Ave. With no real game plan I allowed Rodnei to take creative control. I'm like that amazing customer who tends to let artist create. Since the left side of my hair was still growing out (I shaved it last year and stop cutting it in January) Rodnei decided to stick with an asymmetrical cut. He also dyed my blonde tips to black and bleached my bangs platinum blonde and then ombre to a honey brown. Turned out amazing. I love it. What do you guys think?

Entourage: Bohemian Mermaid Braid

Sometimes when I get lazy I resort to my french braid. Only because I don't know any other. My mom always braided my hair when I was younger so I never learned. Also I'm the only daughter in the family so I couldn't really practice. My barbie dolls only had french braids=( Trying to be optimistic I searched youtube for a quick tutorial. In this tutorial ahanhbarbie34 shows you how to create a bohemian mermaid braid. It's really easy to follow and it turned out great. I've conquered two braids. YAY!

Day 22: HLUB Crimpyyy hair

So my friend came to visit me and her hair was crimped. I haven't always been a fan of the style but I guess it depends on the way it's styled. Anyways I found this editorial spread and I fell in love. I might be sportin' this soon.
